corn cheese balls, is easy to make, delicious, crispy outside and soft inside. These are ideal for kids lunch box or after school snack or party appetiser. Corn and cheese makes a great combination and this duo is a great hit with people of all age groups.


 Mozzarella and cheddar cheese goes well with recipe and as cheeses are salty, try to add less salt to the mixture and taste it once before making balls.
Corn cheese balls can be served with ketchup or salsa or green chutney.

corn cheese balls recipe:


Prep time: 2mins
Cooking time: 5mins
Yields: makes 15 to 20

Ingredients:


Sweet corn kernels - 1/2 cup
Boiled potato - 3 (medium size, boiled with skin on)
Mozzarella cheese - 100g, grated
Cilantro/Coriander leaves - 2tbsp (finely chopped)
White/black pepper pwd - 1/4tsp
Garlic - 1pod, finely grated
Flour - 2tbsp
salt to taste
Oil for frying

Method:


1.) Take a bowl and mash the boiled potato, add rest of the ingredients to it except oil.

2.) Mix well with your hands and make the mixture balls ready for frying.

3.) Heat oil in a frying, check the temperature of the oil by dropping small ball in the oil (ball should start dancing and bubbles around).

4.) Slowly drop few of the mixture balls and let it fry on both sides until it reaches the golden colour and transfer them to a kitchen towel and let it absorb the excess oil.

5.) Repeat step 4 and fry rest of the balls and drain them on kitchen towel.
6.) Corn cheese balls are ready to serve and have them with ketchup. These balls are ideal for kids lunch boxes or after school snack.
