One of those comfort kinds of meals comes from this simple one time preparation. Spice powders are speciality of traditional Andhra Cuisine. It is made of grinding roasted gram dal with few basic Indian spices.

Serving suggestions, mixed with hot rice and a generous dollop of ghee/clarified butter, a combination which is definitely a heaven on plate. Consumption of dried red chillies in the recipe can be increased or decreased according to your taste buds. Store it in air tight container, stays fresh and consume it in 3 months time. Ingredients:


Roasted gram dal - 1cup
Dried red chillies - 10 to 15
Zeera seeds - 3 tsp
Garlic - 3pods
Salt to taste

Method:


1.) Take all the ingredients in a mixer jar and pulse it into fine powder.
2.) Adjust the taste now and thats it. Pappula podi is ready to serve.
