Guacamole recipe, how to make guacamole


Guacamole is an avocado-based dip or salad first created in Mexico. One constant ingredient in all guacamole recipes are ripe avocados like versatile, flavourful fresh avocados, avocados make the perfect guacamole for any occasion.

Adding lemon juice will help the guacamole to stay fresh and balance the flavour.
As the major ingredient of guacamole is raw avocado, the nutritional value of the dish derives from avocado vitamins, minerals, are a source of saturated fat, beta-carotene and many more.

Ingredients:

Avocado - 1, ripe
Onion - 2tbsp, finely chopped
Cherry/normal tomatoes - 3tbsp, finely chopped
Cilantro/Coriander leaves - 1tbsp
Garlic - 1pod, finely grated
Olive oil - 3tbsp
Pepper powder - a pinch
Sea salt to taste
Water - 3tbsp or more
Jalapeno chilli - 1tsp, fresh/pickled, chopped(optional)

Method:

1.) Wash, cut the avocado in half and remove seed.

2.) Scoop out the inner flesh of the avocado with a spoon, separating it from the outer skin and take it into a bowl. Mash it nicely with a fork.

3.) Gently stir in all the ingredients, and adjust the consistency of the guacamole by adding little more water if required.

4.) Dip is ready and serve it with corn chips and enjoy.
