Mint Rice Recipe, how to make mint rice
Mint/Pudina flavoured rice is very easy to make and can be served with Chana masala or Rajma masala or just with raita as lunch or dinner. This flavourful rice is made with few Indian spices, finely chopped fresh springs of mint or pudina leaves, chilli ginger garlic paste and cooked with rice.
I always prefer finely chopped mint leaves in the recipe instead of ground paste as this finely chopped mint leaves disappears after cooking them with rice, so why do we need to use ground paste and ideal for people who doesn't like to have mint rice with ground paste form. This is one of our family favourite rice dish which is very easy to prepare and yummy to eat. Also, it makes a healthy lunch box menu.
