Vegetable Roast

Vegetable Roast Recipe:





Prep time: 5mins
Cooking Time: 7 mins
Type: easy
Yield: 3 persons

Ingredients

Potato - 1/2 cup(cut into thick lengthwise)
Carrot - 1/2 cup(cut into thick lengthwise)
Brocoli - 1/2 cup(cut florets)
Garlic - 1pod(finely chopped)
Fresh/dry basil - 5leaves,chopped
Butter - 2 tbsps
Oregano - 1 tbsp(dried/fresh)
Turmeric Powder a pinch
Salt to taste
Pepper Powder a pinch(optional)

Method

1. Boil potato and carrot together and keep it aside.

2. Blanch brocoli florets for 5 mins in boiling water with a pinch of salt and turmeric powder. Drain   the florets and transfer them to cold water to avoid over cooking.

3. Take a frying pan with butter and garlic on a medium heat and saute for 30 secs. Now its time to add all veggies and saute on high flame for 2 mins.

4. Its time to add salt,pepper pwd and basil,stir and transfer it into a serving plate.

5. Vegetable Roast is ready to serve.

    Tips



    1. You can add your choice of veggies.
    2. Kids can start there meal with this healthy and tasty roast.
    3. You can add your choice of herbs.I used dried oregano and fresh basil herb.
